A grass planted in a home or commercial landscape typically has long, narrow leaves and often will produce plumes or bloom stalks which develop seed heads.  Grasses are used as accents in the gardens in groups or as single specimens.  Grasses are either evergreen or dormant in winter.  Grasses grow in a variety of heights and widths.
